An insight into what we get up to at PDCC
An insight into what we get up to at PDCC
The cheque for £1223 raised by the charity paddle was handed over to the the RNLI on Saturday by the organiser and driving force, Ingrid.
She was supported by a group of Club members, can you recognise them out of their paddling kit?
Just to remind you, here are just a few of the paddlers on the day,
and Ingrid on the water.
Thanks to Beverley for the photos.
Sunday's paddle had Tony leading us along an unfamiliar stretch of coast,
past the Seven Sisters,
and around Beachy Head, in near perfect conditions. Great paddle!
A video record of the PDCC trip to Cowes (& up the R. Medina to Newport) Isle of Wight on Sunday 6th September 2009. By Simon Davies
Warm, sunny, calm sea, all looked well for the paddle across the Solent.
We passed the East Bramble east cardinal, letting the tide carry us down onto
the SE Ryde Middle south cardinal,
where we had to wait for a couple of ships,
before pressing on to Ryde. Lunch, a look at the Ryde Classic car rally, and an uneventful ferry glide back.
